Our mission for this scholarship is to memorialize our son Jimmy Mullins who was tragically
taken from us on April 2nd, 2024, just short of his 30th birthday. Jimmy was always a selfless man
who was willing to help anyone who was in need. As part of our family’s journey through this
challenging and difficult time, we believe that Jimmy would have appreciated knowing that in
his name, others would be able to move forward into a career that he was not only passionate
about, but he thrived in. Anyone who knew our son Jimmy, knew that from the moment he
stepped onto a boat, his beautiful smile would reach his eyes and he was at his happiest. Jimmy
loved anything with an engine and even when he was a small child, he loved taking things apart
and putting them back together. No matter if he was cruising around the ocean, fishing, or
working on boat Jimmy had found his calling.

We are not only hoping to raise money through donations, but we are also hosting a flounder
tournament on Saturday August 24th, 2024, to help fund this memorial scholarship in Jimmy’s
name.

As we establish this scholarship, it is our wish to help as many qualified graduating
seniors who would like to pursue a career in the mechanical field as funding will allow.
Depending on need, this scholarship will be used to help a student who requires tools or tuition
assistance.

100% of the money raised/donated will fund our non-profit organization that is aimed at helping
students at Cape May County Technical School in Jimmy’s name.
